  1998

  In 1998 Dr. Jassim Bin Nasser Al Thani, a dynamic member of the Royal Family of the State of Qatar, initiated his business activities. After Trading & Transport proved successful, Al Jazeera International Trading became a major supplier to the State of Qatar, providing for many of its requirements.

• 

  2001

  By increasing his business activities within the maritime transportation and allied business areas, Al Jazeera International Trading ventured into container shipping. In those days the Qatar shipping industry operated under the exclusive control of the State of Qatar. In the first half of 2001, in association with Simatech Shipping, Al Jazeera International Trading brought into Doha Port the first private container feeder vessel from Dubai.

  2004

  This served to be the catalyst to opening up of the Shipping and Freight Industry in Qatar, which paved way for many shipping companies of International repute to initiate operations directly with the State of Qatar - the new beacon of quality development - and the fastest growing economy in the world. This was followed by the Group’s foray into real estate activities, and in this process developed state-of- the-art properties.

  2006

  Today, Al Jazeera International Group owns Al Jazeera Tower in the West Bay, Retaj Tower and Al Jazeera Service Apartments on Airport road, Al Bayrak Service Apartments, all of which can be found in the Heart of Doha City, and many hotels and apartment complexes in various locations in Saudi Arabia.

  2008

  In addition Al Jazeera International Group ventured into the oil and gas segment. Beginning with the owning and operating of petrol stations. Subsequently we have provided Consultancy services to the Multi Venture Logistics Task Force in the Ras Laffan Industrial City, and sponsored partners of various International organizations in the field of Civil, Electro/Mechanical, Industrial, Petrochemical, Oil and Gas operations/construction. We even facilitate supplies of various items related to Gas and Oil operations.

  2010

  When the Qatari Government initiated a centralized organization for the management of the taxi and bus services in the State, it was an honor for the Group to support the creation with its Joint Venture company. We provided the operational technology and continue to enjoy the confidence of Mowasalat, the Taxi operating company.

  2014
