Renting in Qatar is easy and straightforward. The majority of property is rented unfurnished although there are some furnished property on the market. Most people moving to Qatar will head for Doha where there is a plentiful selection of rented properties. One of Doha’s key new developments, The Pearl, offers a beautiful Riviera atmosphere with shops, restaurants and leisure facilities to support the 41,000 residents. Almost all rented accommodation in Doha come with a range of amenities including swimming pools, gymnasiums, tennis courts and playgrounds. Qatar’s cities are small by international standards and driving times between work and home tend to be short.
Hotels
Qatar has many first class hotels: prices for accommodation vary according to the range of facilities and levels of service offered. Hotels should be booked in advance, and rates are subject to a 15% service charge.
